以色列教育體驗研習團 ~ 分享三~ Holocaust事件中的一首短詩－車路墘基督教會

＂When the whole world abandons you,

Face the storm silently.

Turn your brow toward fate,

Suffer silently without complaint.＂

In April 1941, Uncle Jaroslav drew a picture to Hanna Mirjam in a drawing book. This picture has this poem and a nice portrait of a charming girl (I believe it is Hanna) carrying a Teddy bear and surrounded by beautiful flowers. Hanna was killed in the Holocaust at the age of 11.

1941年四月，一位叫做Hanna Mirjam的猶太女孩的叔叔Jaroslav在畫冊上畫了一幅畫給她。這幅圖畫了一個女孩拿著一隻泰迪熊，周圍都是美麗的花朵（我想畫的是Hanna)。

上面附了一首詩：

當全世界都拋棄妳時，

請安靜地面對暴風雨。

請眉角上揚，面對命運，

毫無怨言並寧靜地承受苦難。

Hanna十一歲時死於大屠殺事件。這是我在Yad VaShem裡的Holocaust歷史博物館看到的一幅畫。Yad VaShem是紀念與研究Holocaust事件的機構，設有國際Holocaust研究學校（International School for Holocaust Studies, ISHS)。我們就在這裡上課。Yad VaShem通常翻譯成大屠殺紀念館，但是這樣的翻譯跟原意不同。Yad是上帝的手的意思，VaShem是人的名字的意思，所以Yad VaShem的意思是上帝紀念在Holocaust事件裡的人的名字，所以可以翻成生命冊紀念館。它是以色列參觀人數僅次於西牆的地方。
